I went ice skating last winter and I'm no spring chicken ,Idid get a wet butt a few times

Go for it! life is too short and exercising is good for you, might be an idea to invest in pads kit for protection, they even do the bum pad!

There used to be a sign on one of the treatment room walls around here. It said:

We don't stop playing because we grow old.
We grow old because we stop playing.

How very true! A few days ago, our daughter rang up (from London) to tell me that the Quo were playing at Wembley Arena next March and would I like to come too. I hesitated at first but our other half wasn't having any of that - so we're all going.

If 60 isn't too old to be going to rock concerts then 56 certainly isn't too old to start skating. Go for it!
