Is 93% efficient any good for an oil boiler?

efficiency is calculated on a log scale and makes bad boilers look better. for true efficiency find out your FGT and compare its to the fuels burning point.

Stoichemetric combustion is what we should aim for when setting/commissioning burners (CO2max)......but we live in the real world..

Efficiency takes a back seat as there are more important factors to take into account......high CO2/low CO should be the ballpark..

My FGA gives an "Efficency" reading that is higher than the Manufacturers Stated Rating.
