Is Black enamel steel conduit - OK in the floor?

I've decided to *can* the idea of moving the hob to the breakfast bar.

OOI, why? :

I know its a popular option to have a hob in a breakfast bar with the extractor over the top.

What put me off (apart from the additional work/cost) was, the B/Bar is 900mm deep, the hob is the best part of 600mm deep. Giving free space of 300mm.

The thought of burning myself or singeing my morning Daily Sport made me re-think. By not having the hob there then it's all additional workspace.

The last reason and this is one's slightly mute, was the extractor would partially obscure the view out through the french doors to my wonderful decking (yet to be constructed)

You cant tell I've spent far too long thinking about this , by any chance

Two singles on the ring, I hope? ;)

Of Course :)
