Bristan taps are extremely good, but I believe they buy in their showers from another maker, rebranded.
In "Which" customer survey, they were not a top scorer., and "received modest feedback".
Triton was also poor.
I have been very pleased with Aqualisa mixers, which came 4th in the survey, after Hans Grohe (top); Grohe, and Mira.
If you get a concealed mixer, do try very hard to ensure it can be seviced or replaced without having to smash the tiles and burrow into the wall. Much homeowner sadness results when there is a fault or leak inside a wall. I use the "round body" Aqualisas, which come with a spacing sleeve so you can service them from the front.
Put some spare matching tiles in a box under the bath for the future.
