I'm looking for some advice about the feasibility of relocating a combi boiler.
The situation is as follows;
I'm doing a complete refurb on a 3 bed terraced house.
As well as some rewiring and skimming, my plan included replacing the old boiler and hot water tank with a modern combi. One of my original intentions was to build a rear extension which would house the new combi.
The plumber came in first to flush the system, and then do some minor pipe work relocating some rads. The rest of the CH and hot water pipes are unchanged.
Knowing my intention with the extension, the plumber extended the pipes for the main gas, water and hot water feeds leading out of the house into the garden. They are sitting outside disconnected at this time. The hole left by the original boiler has been blocked up and a new kitchen installed over it.
I'm now thinking about abandoning the extension for now. The most significant barrier to this is the CH and hot water feeds.
How realistic is it to move the boiler location elsewhere? Or what options, if any, do i have?
