I believe that it (and equally stupid things) do happen.

As you know, there is at least one of our risk-averse friends who is not only concerned about people using a hair dryer in the bath, but also of their dropping it into a bath (as a 'reason' why metal baths should be {'unnecessarily'} earthed)!
