Its height is a maximum of 4.8 metres. Is it possible and should I think about making this two floors? If I could get an extra bedroom in the top of the loft that would help a lot!!
From the image i'm getting the rafter length about 6200mm long with say a 40 degree pitch gives you a vertical rise of a shade under 4m from the point of eaves i.e. the top of the fascia.
This translates to about 3.7m from the plate or about 3.5m from the top of what would be your a floor joist. This then equates to 2.4m useable space once you square the ceiling off.
What size loft did you have to play with? The alternative is that I put the expansion tank over the bedrooms but since I am moving to a sealed heating system I dont believe that is neccessary
