Is this a resonable quote to fit a kitchen

Looks poorly designed, would reconfigure to give more worktop space and removed at least one tall unit, which make a small kitchen seem even smaller.
Would price around £2000 including skim of ceiling and all plumbing and electrics.

If the units are pre built, I'd have expected a quote at under £1000. Not like he's got to spend a day making units up then. Quite literally placing the units and levelling them up before fixing them to the walls etc. I couldn't see a kitchen fit that size taking any more than 3-4 days max. If he's doing it on his own then at £2100, he's wanting around £500-£700 per day labour. FFS show him the door. Don't worry that he's a friend of your mum's... Ask her if she'd pay that much in labour for a relatively small kitchen. ;) ;) ;)
