Is this cement render or lime render?

I have an 1890 victorian terraced house whose front is quite elevated and exposed and has a covering of render plus paint. I'm trying to establish if it's cement render or lime render (I suspect the former, and there's lots of places elsewhere in the brickwork where the original lime render has been repointed with cement). I've got a couple of pictures of where the paint has come off, and it looks pretty grey and cement-like to me, but I would be grateful if someone can confirm! Many thanks!

@sxturbo OK - thanks. That's useful in itself. I should be getting someone round fairly soon to look at it all anyway so hopefully they can confirm what it is.
