Should that hole in the top where the cable goes in be sealed up???

My guess is she is stressing over nothing but you never know!
Thanks all

Usually on these showers where the cable enters at the top the hole leads straight to the bottom, and the cable turns up to the front of the shower inside where the terminals are. In other words there's usually nothing below that hole that can be harmed by water and any water will drain out the bottom. They are designed to not have to be sealed.

That said, it's pretty poor that they've left it like that. The shower will probably have come with various inserts for that hole to suit what is going through it.

Thanks - just found a video on youtube and yes the back plastic is moulded to keep water out - thanks
