Is this the worst tiling job ever (with pictures this time)

Had a call from a very pleasant lady last night about changing a 'few' cuts around an architrave on a recently fixed floor. She was crying on the phone and when I went to visit her this morning, very very distressed. A very nice house and the people obviously have money. When I looed at the job, I did not know whether to laugh or cry. None of these pictures are photo shoped or manipulated. What you cannot see are the lips. And please look closely at picture 2. The bloke spent some time cutting those in. And picture 3, what the heck has happened there. A truly terrible job, the worst I have ever seen. I suggested to the lady that she sues who ever did this, and the amazing thing is she paid him. I would suggest who ever did this is on drugs, seriously.

Hi Guys, nice to know its not just me! I genuinely felt sorry for this lady. This is the worst I have ever seen but increasingly im getting called to jobs that have been done badly and being asked for my advice in putting things right. Why did I not get the call in the first place. I'm well established in my part of the world but still these so called 'tilers' are getting the work. I truly do not get it. And how much to put this job right? Rip up, level the floor, toilet out (you should see the cutting around that) re-tile with a border (3 metres), toilet back in etc etc. Anyway, thanks guys for your input and stop listening to my whining. Cheers...............

The reason why you didn't get the call was because a 'cash cowboy' came along and promised the worlds best job. When will customers realise that good work costs good money.

Don't know about that, some of those cuts took time. Some of that would have been easier to do right!

You did not get the job because there are alot these type of "tilers plumbers builders "

They are like the snake skin oil salesmen of old and can sell snow to the Eskimos.They promise everything and deliver nothing
