hi, came home today to find boiler not working .no power at all.checked all wires and fuses, all live and working upto pcb.there does look to be a very slight warp in the black plastic of the pcb as if it might of got hot.does this sound as if the pcb unit has gone.if so can anyone tell me the cheepest place to buy a new one,as i think i could replace it myself. or where to go to get it fixed.thanks in advance.

there is a reset button, but there is no life at all to that panel, there is no fuse to be seen but the user guide says there is one in the pcb box but we carnt get to it

It's at the back where it hinges down on the top of the box. If you need one (you will) pm me.

Clf is spot on. Yet another Isar pcb story of woe. Worst is Ideal won't come out for fixed price fix as they are too busy with warranty calls

Expect up to £300 for an independent fix.

I've now had 8 Isars go down in the last 10 days

2 waiting for spares, that Ideal seem incapable of supplying

Good luck.

Try calling watchdog, Ideal need shamimg on their reliability and customer care.

 only 8, go to loads! cnt wait till the exspansion vessel starts goin on the ble*ders!

if ya phone bg it'll only cost ya £156 for a 1off repair (covers only 1 fault)
