When I worked in a school,, During Ramadan, the Muslim kids that got free school dinners (and believe me there were quite a few), were entitled to collect a packed lunch from the dining room at dinnertime. The majority of these ended up either in the bins or chucked about the playground. All this for a month. Had it been my choice I'd have refused to give them these packed lunches and provided them with a glass of water to wet their lips.

I totally agree Joe, It's high time we stopped pandering to these people. It's also time the liberal do gooders opened their eyes to what's going on in this country.

for approximatly 5 days at the begiuning off the new term when things havent settled down to a routine somone has had the sensible idea to at least consider the need off kids who may not have eaten any food for several hours can only be a good thing

Change the words "AVOID OFFENDING" to "RESPECT" and it gives a whole new perspective on the story.... i personally am totally against this country becoming a muslim state... however, if we're going to embrace people from other religions, we have to respect what they "have to do".... don't we?

the article uses over sensationalism to mention cancelling sex education lessons etc when they could just re-arrange them ffs!!

I remember when I was at college, we had a few asian lads in one of our evening classes, when ramadan came along, all they did was disrupt the class by choosing what time the break was, then the asians would disappear for 45 minutes.
The teacher would have the rest of the class waiting until they returned before he restarted.
I soon put a stop to that though!
I would not mind so much, but it seemed their religion allowed them to smoke the tobacco and weed during the hours of daylight.
