It has not changed - same as you quote. It just shows you do not have the latest edition.

As a further thought:
do you think 132.15.202 (your 132.15.2 I presume) applies to extractor fans?

Also - either:
why do you think it was thought necessary in 132.15 to specifically mention fixed electric motors, or
why do you think no other equipment is specifically mentioned?

As I suspected, just another contractor that speaks in riddles, met loads of you over the years. Bullsh** does not baffle brains, come on speak some clear common sense, if you can?

Proper English is not riddles.

It may be that you can't understand it, or the regulations, but that is another matter.
Take it one line at a time.

I take it you do not want to - or cannot - answer.

"132.15.1 Effective means, suitably placed for ready operation, shall be provided so that all voltage may be cut off from every installation, from every circuit thereof and from all equipment, as may be necessary to prevent or remove danger."
Yes, we know.

What part of that not mandating local isolation is too hard for you to understand?

Do you know, I doubt that there is a single person here who is surprised to learn that you have met loads of people who seemed to you to be speaking in riddles.

Bullsh** does not baffle brains
You say that, yet over and over again here you give every indication of believing the exact opposite.
