I did ... Did you check that anyone had provided the answer........

OP was advised to get the engineer code or get the installer to rectify to sort as the user doesn't have the engineers code by multiple forum members.

Without the engineers code, it is unlikely they will be able to connect to wintex, as they wouldn't be able to access the UDL passcode either to set up wintex to connect.

The user said that the installer wouldn't give the engineers code without invalidating things.
The user has legal rights under the consumer act to get things addressed and working properly but would need to take advice on that before pursuing things any further. The users choice on how to proceed.

The issue is part arm coms not being turned on probably, but without the engineers code you cant move on, ticking or unticking maintenance or open/close signals has nothing to do with not receiving notifications when system is part armed.

There are ways and means of dealing with not knowing the engineers code and or a locked panel that can be found online, some I wouldn't advise on doing by a complete novice .

Now the engineering asking about the phones notifications is important for receiving notifications but not specifically when system is part set. there were issues with updates to phones and sleep modes for no notifications coming through after your phone had been off for 20 minutes or so from memory.

Establishing it was still working for full and part set and activating with a phone that is awake narrows down the issue.

The thread is over 12 months old, so they maybe they will be back if the engineer hasn't sorted the issue and they are no longer under the installer tie in, but to move on they will still need an engineers code given or defaulted (code default only) if possible to resolve the issue.
