JADE TRITON SHOWER

HI,
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I AM USING THE FORUM. WE HAVE A TRITON JADE SHOWER IN THE FLAT. WE FITTED IT BY SOMEONE IN 2004. WORKED NICELY FOR 4 YEARS. BUT NOW WHEN WE TAKE SHOWER THE WATER DOES NOT FLOW UNLESS WE KEEP THE ON/OFF SWITCH BUTTON PRESSED DURING SHOWERING. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL US IF IT IS THE SWITCH WHICH IS FAULTY OR WHAT COULD BE THE REASON? HOW CAN WE CORRECT THE PROBLEM? IF IT IS THE SWITCH THEN HOW TO REPLACE IT WITH A NEW SWITCH? I AM NOT AN ELECTRICIAN BUT DO HAVE COMMONSENSE. PLEASE ADVISE WHAT AND HOW TO HANDLE THIS. I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP FROM ANYONE.

Its 4 years old get someone qualified to service the unit.

Water- electrics- DIY / unskilled tampering = trouble

Looking at TRITON web site they say:-

Call us on 0870 0673333 (Monday - Friday: 8am to 5pm. Saturday 9am to 12 noon)

The Customer Service area forms part of Triton’s unrivalled advice and after sales support package which includes sections to help ensure that you select the right shower, know where to purchase it, answer any technical queries and, in the unlikely event of product breakdown, arrange a service engineer visit.

Why not phone them and see what they say. Can't do any harm!

I thought the thread title was "JADE'S TRITON SHOWER"....maybe with a picture of her using it??
