Jaguar Land Rover Investment in Birmingham

We will continue to work with government to secure a deal that supports business.”

In other words given a no-deal, a taxpayer paid bribe will be required!
Quelle surprise...

And they didn't even have to wait for Brexit to actually happen!

No 10 hands Jaguar Land Rover £500m loan to develop electric cars

Of course the 'loan' won't ever get paid back!

And 'failing grayling' seems to be as confused as ever...

He said, "Home charging provides the most convenient and low-cost option for consumers – you can simply plug your car in to charge overnight as you would a mobile phone.”

Bit of a sloppy misleading headline from the Guardian for those daft enough to believe it.

The loan is a credit facility from commercial banks with a loan guarantee from the government. A shame the govt weren't doing more of this sort of thing some years back when we lost out on the building of a cruise liner to France because the French Govt were willing to guarantee a loan to a French company and our govt decided it was against EU rules.
It's a funny old world.

The loan is a credit facility from commercial banks with a loan guarantee from the government.
It's a loan guarantee from the taxpayer who has no say over the matter.

And said loan guarantees have a habit of becoming a liability.

Or do you actually believe that the government has any money of it's own?

So all businesses default do they?, I'm surprised I've not read of more cases.

Who said that 'all businesses default'?

As usual you're making stuff up...

Just like you 'confused' the ECB figures to suit your incorrect reading of bank funding...

And just like you attributed comments to the wrong poster in a desperate attempt to dig yourself out of the hole you had dug yourself...

Quit whilst you're behind is my advice

You did.

And said loan guarantees have a habit of becoming a liability.

Of course the 'loan' won't ever get paid back!

You posted an article that is completely disingenuous implying the govt had thrown a loan at Jaguar. I simply pointed out that this was not the case, the loan was a credit facility
from Banks and the Govt were acting as a guarantor.

It's a loan guarantee from the taxpayer who has no say over the matter.

Yes I know, I pointed this out to you.

Or do you actually believe that the government has any money of it's own?

Where did I state this?

No I didn't...

I never said ''all businesses default"

If you disagree, then show me where I said it..

I already showed you, but hey ho, I'll show you again.

Looks pretty clear cut to me.

I said, "do you actually believe that the government has any money of it's own?"

It was a question, dipstick...

The clue is in the '?

It might be a question but it's also an implication it's something I believe or have insinuated, which is a lie, dipstick.

'the' loan, not all loans...

filly obviously doesn't understand english...

Ain't me digging the hole...

btw, have you worked out who posted what yet?

Or got to grips with simple maths regarding the ECB?

Thought not

(you are consistent though, as you do seem to have an amazing ability to understand f*** all in every topic you post in)
