Jammed JG Speedfit fitting

Dear Experts,

Any advice about how to remove a jammed-on JG Speedfit fitting?

I’m unable to push the ring in at all; the fitting rotates on the pipe but doesn’t pull off.

Help!

Just fully unscrew the end (the ribbed part). Normally by hand, it will move. At worst, use suitable pliers.

With JG as above, it sometimes if you unscrew a little, it will then enable you to remove the fitting.

Sorry, yes. You unscrew it a little, until it stops (couple of rotations) then you can push the end collar in. If completely stuck, force the unscrewing past that initial point.

Hmm, I though unscrewing was to stop you pushing the end collar in, no?
