Unifil says Israeli forces rammed its vehicles in Lebanon

Israeli forces rammed UN peacekeeping vehicles in southern Lebanon with a Merkava tank on two occasions on Sunday, the UN Interim Force in Lebanon said.

Israeli “warning shots” had hit and damaged clearly identifiable Unifil vehicles this week, including one shot that landed a metre away from a peacekeeper, according to Unifil.

Unifil also said that IDF soldiers had “continually blocked peacekeepers’ movements” in recent days as well as destroying force protection cameras and spray-painting over a gate window, blocking visibility"

You are incapable of understanding that the word "terrorism" is merely a word to justify violence, and to make it morally and legally acceptable, against a group, a group who see themselves as freedom fighters.

Isn't it strange that when Israel employs asymmetric warfare, such as exploding pagers, extrajudicial killings, etc, their secret services are lauded by the Israeli supporters among us. They're described as "the most moral", "justified" and almost " omnipotent", etc.
But when Iran (or any other country, organisation, nationality, ethnicity, etc) employ asymmetric warfare, they're labelled as terrorists.

Substitute 'Israeli' for 'Jewish' and you'd have a legitimate argument.

Despite what some people on here think, i have no problem with people criticising Israel. I personally respect their right to defend themselves, but think they've gone too far.

I do have a problem with anti semitism though, and specifically those who can't differentiate between Jews and Israelis.

“A small but dangerous extremist fringe, emboldened by irresponsible political backing and enabled by the silence of the national leadership, must not be allowed to endanger Israel’s security or erode the foundations of the Zionist project,” the letter continues.
