hi...... I am using an 22mm JG Speedfit equal tee compression fitting is it acceptable to use 22mm copper pipe and will i have to insert a liner or is that just for plastic pipe.

Yes you can use copper and liners are only for plastic pipe

If you are using copper, you must cut the pipe with a pipe cutter or pipe slice. If you use a hacksaw or similar, the rough edge will damage the o-ring.
