Hi folks, does anyone know how to repair johnson & starley hot air heater pls as replacing it is too expensive now.

well it might be an idea to quote the model
and the freakin fault

kevplum, the model is JT 19-25 MK2 MODAIRFLOW. The problem is that i see fire burning in an unusual place (never seen fire burn b4).

Then you are not going to be able to repair that. Call a repair specialist and get it serviced before Winter. Open flued WAU's are not for diy repairs.

Badly or un-maintained warm air heaters are extremely dangerous and have the abillity to spread Carbon Monoxide to all corners of your home
a flame visible in a place where a flame has not been seen before should start warning bells ringing LOUDLY!!! Turn the unit off and contact a Gas specialist holding CCN1 + HTR1 Certification!!

Cheaper than replacing an entire house and/or the cost of funerals for all the family.

Turn it off before it is too late.
