I have taken down the old side wall of my house to open up my new extension.

My question is how do i join the new concrete slab floor to the old suspended timber floor across the cavity of the old wall.

I still have to lay the screed so the slab is still slightly lower.

Thanks

if the ends of the joists are visible simply fix a trimmer beam to the joist ends, turn a piece of dpm against the trimmer and screed up to the floor board level.

Thanks
Could that be the quickest bit of advise ever.
I left a good 12 inch extra DPM when casting the slab so that should surfice.
thanks again
