Hello all,
Ordered my worktops before I got my kitchen ordered and now we have changed to a diagonal corner cupboard. Would a join in like in picture be wise? Best way to do it?
It’s beech 4000 x 620 x 40mm
Thanks

You need to join the 900 x 300mm section to the 2200x600 section first. Preferably with sash clamps a biscuit jointer or domino and possibly cascamite or PVA.

Or contact a kitchen fitter or carpenter as this isn't very straightforward at all.

I am not being rude or dismissive of your skill set but just assuming that you may be a D.I.Yer and getting this joint bang on will take lots of experience.

Personally I wouldn't have had that 600 +350 joint. I would have designed the kitchen to use a single piece of standard 900mm. That's a big joint for the sake of 50mm.

That’s a raised breakfast bar on the 350 part using the off cut from the 600 to cover the height difference in units

All doable, providing you have good support from the cabinets, especially at joints.
My preferred choice would be biscuits.
