I don't have a front driveway and the only way to get materials into my garden is via an alleyway leading to through a gate at the end. I will need about 3 jumbo bags of material delivered. It's for a budget DIY project hence my query as the permit cost/application for a day would exceed the project cost itself wouldn't make sense.
I plan to have it dropped off kerbside (general parking spot for anyone). Will be hauling it into my garden immediately via wheelbarrow loads will take a few hours most likely.
Anyone had any "bad" experience from their council for anything similar? As there seem to be a lot of mention of just getting a slap on the hand/being told to move it rather than on the spot fines?
Also to add there is a jumbo bag few roads down besides a tree on the pavement for a few days now without any suspension notice/guarding etc.
