junction box...(connector block)..help

Fitting my new hob and it has 3 wires ....now i need to connect these to the mains cable....is there a specific type of junction box that i can use or can i do it via heavy duty connector blocks....im a bit wary about using blocks tbh.......whats the best method and where can i purchase the correct connections

Is it an electric hob or a gas hob with electric ignition ?

if electric what is the wattage and what is on the end of the supply cable from the consumer unit ( fuse box ). ?

You might need a cooker outlet plate
