Magico - stop dancing around - nobody here knows who you are or where you live and even if we did we aren't going to be setting the LABC dogs onto you.

Simple question:

Do you want this work to be done in accordance with the requirements of Part P of the Building Regulations.

Yes or no?

of course i do m8....which means i`ll have to pay a building control fee to have the work tested and inspected when i`ve completed it.
just wanna know how to complete the job safetly.........was just gonna replace ceiling rose with a 4 t JB and run a spur from that to the isolator switch(triple pole? why not a fcu?) and then from there to the fan..........now i need a RCD in system too, wheres that go

No - you have to notify them before you start, and you have to follow whatever procedure they have for inspecting at 1st & 2nd fix, and testing and certifying.

You may well need an FCU as well as an isolation switch - what do the instructions say about fusing? And if you don't want to also fuse the bathroom light, and don't want to replace the light switch with a DP one, then obviously you'll need 2 FCUs. The RCD needs to go somewhere in the circuit before the switch - another reason for making that a DP one, or the RCD will end up "protecting" at least part of your lighting circuit, which you may not want....

Given the notification point raised above, and your plans to notify LABC, are you sure you know enough to do this job successfully? You're asking an awful lot of very basic questions......
