K Rend over stone

Hi all,

I'd like to K Rend the front of my house, which isn't a large area and a small section is stone (see attachement).

I'm after some advice on how best to prepare the stone for a base coat.

Can I level it off with a base coat, maybe HPX or would it be better to level off with a sand/cement mix, before applying a K Rend base?

use their base coat with their primer and their mesh and their beads. then you can’t go far wrong , phone their tech help for advice.
sand and cement is ok but you will end up with cracking if you use the wrong mix.
