Kardean Flooring?

Does anyone have any experience of using Kardean flooring and in particular the quality and sound absorbing properties compared to other materials?
The builder working on our development is planning to overboard the existing floorboards with a thin sheet of ply and then lay Kardean 'wood effect' flooring (looks like wooden floor) so I want to know if its any good or not/noisy to walk on - especially as I will be living below!

Karndean is pretty quiet - better than laninates anyway.
In terms of quality I've always been of the opinion it's equally as good as Amtico.
They've got a very good showroom at their head office at Evesham if you want to see the stuff laid.
