hi, planning to have kitchen floor done and we are considering either Amtico Spacia or Karndean Da Vinci in a black ceramic effect, which would you consider to be the best of the two ? Also what would be the installation costs for supply and fit ply to wooden floor, screed and fit tiles. thanks Eric

Karndean davinci is alot better product than Amtico spacia. And cost will vary depending on what needs to be done. At a guess about 20-25 quid a meter for prep work and install.

thanks for your reply, have decided on the Da Vinci and have had a price today for fitting 24m for £460

hi, thats an all in price, fit ply, screed etc. Thought it seemed a fair price as kitchen is an odd shape due to an extension and flooring will be going into a walk in pantry and small utility room, thanks Eric

not a bad price! Take it you checked that they are approved/karndean trained to fit the flooring or have good reference for fitting the stuff, maybe amtico approved instead or at the very least hold there NVQ level2 ?

hi, the guy is karndean approved, comes recommended by a friend, he has done a superb job in their kitchen.
