Kernel32.dd ?

Hi, I run Windows XP on my PC and am trying to load some software from CD. All I get is a failure message that states it cannot find the above and it won't load.

Can anyone help?

The software is claimed to be compatible with Windows 98/2000/ME/NT4 and XP.

Not sure if I will be able to get to the bottom of it though as some of the possible solutions are a bit to techy for me to try!
