Keston C36 E02 Error Code

My Keston Combi boiler is flashing up an E02 code.
The manual says Keston C36 fault E02 (False flame - the unit is detecting a flame BEFORE ignition. Check gas valve closure, power supply polarity and voltage and earth connection). The supply is OK.
Basically when turned on it tries to fire up, (I do not hear any clicking) and about 10 seconds later it closes down with the Error 02)
Anybody help or advice from anyone familiar with this problem will be welcome.

The fault will be on the Ignition/Sensing electrode or a dirty burner tube, not a job for DIY, when was it last properly serviced?
you will require the services of a Qualified engineer the good news is it should not be an overly expensive repair
