kia picanto cut out

i have a 06 kia picanto petrol car it has now cut out on me a few times with the engine management light coming on ,once in traffic .nothing shows on the diagnostic check anybody lse had this problem

Dirty throttle body or idle control valve, especially if the tickover is problematic, as a guess.
I'd be surprised if there's no fault code stored though.
