i have recently had trouble with my starter. somtimes i only get a click and then after a few atemts i manage to get it going. is there anything i can do to make it better or do i have to change it out? also if i have to change it is it a faily simple job? i used to do a fair bit of mechanics back when the wheel was invented!

Probably a duff starter. Should be easy enough to swap over, but get a reconditioned one rather than an ebay or scrapyard jobby!

thanks for help. have had a look today and seems easy change. just concerned about the price. also for inexperenced people i forgot to disconect the battery and got a nasty shock!
