kinetico 2020. is it working?

We have a kinetico 2020 water softner and although we get good lather and have a clean kettle etc we still get some form of build up on shower doors and tiles in the bathroom. It's gradual and if left long enough is really hard to shift. Vikal won't touch it.

I have tested the soft water and get a green solution with the test kit.

I have a particulate meter and this shows that there are particulates in the software.

This photo shows that unsoftened hard water and the water from the kinetico both leave residue.

Any thoughts as to what's going on here.
