Got low ceilings in my kitchen so wondering if Matt Emulsion is fine for the ceiling?

Planning to use Diamond Matt trade on the walls.

Sound ok?

Matt is fine for the ceilings provided that you don't have bucket loads of condensation. If you do then consider waterbased eggshell.

However, Dulux Trade Matt on ceilings can be a pig. It is difficult to roll without ending up with differences in the sheen. 9 times out of 10 it is ok but if the sunlight hits it at the wrong (or right) angle it can look awful. Ironically, the cheaper paints (which have less acrylic) are easier to paint with (but often have inferior colour obliteration).
