I have a separate oven and hob, do I need to have separate connections for each or can I run them both into the switched cooker switch ?

give us some ratings and we might tell you, otherwise search the forum, theres bound to be a situation described on here that matches yours.

Can't see any obvious ratings, this is a cooker hob combination being replaced with a standard single oven and a separate halogen hob. Separate fuse at fuse box rated 32.

Other treads are inconsistent in the advice some say separate some don't. Is a separtate another wire run from the fuse box or a separate spur from the origional.

Sorry not to be able to giev specifics

there should be rating plates on both appliances, stating a wattage.

If its a single oven, put it on a 13A plug or a switched fused connection unit (neater) on a ring main.

Wire the hob to the cooker switch and keep the 32a fuse.
