Hello Hello DIYers

I have just received a Howdens kitchen and I've already hit a wall attempting to start with the corner and spread out sideways.

The plan states that the 1000mm unit is to be ending at 1231mm from the wall or 29cm off the wall. This is where the next 600 unit will begin, the dishwasher.

I have set this up exactly as planned, however when we look at the door (which is left haging), there is a 6cm gap between the door end and the cabinet.

Have I misunderstood the plan or is it poorly planned out? Please let me know your thoughts

PS, The 1000 unit is not pushed all the way back due to piping (shouldn't matter).

Door post in wrong position? Plan shows only one corner fillet on the other corner? Looks like you have wrong door size .
Corner needs to be like this or draws will be obstructed .

The measurement from the wall to the right of the 1000 shows as 1231 so the gap cant be 290.
As foxhole says, get the door post in the correct position for a 600 door and then push back. The 290 may then be 231?

The 290mm dimension relates to the wall cupboards not the base cabinets.
Set the base cabinet about 231 from the wall and it should work.
Howdens corner cabinets usually come with a transit rail which you remove and fit the centre post yourself to suit the door size.
Fit the corner post to the cabinet before fitting cabinet.
Howdens should have given you an installation manual which explains exactly how to do this on pages 24-28
