my boiler is in a custom-made 400mm gap, a tight fit.

It currently has standard hinges, around 100 degrees, I suppose. They just fit. Like this:

I have a good selection of Blum hinges, and want to fit wide opening hinges. But they are bulkier, and will not quite fit above and below the boiler without hitting the case. Is there a type or brand that are a bit less bulky?

Why do you need to open door wider? With clip-off hinges access can be gained quickly by removing door .Or you could adjust hinge position to avoid boiler ?

It's in the corner, with worktop below, and you have to lean round the door to see it or operate controls.

Yes, I do unclip the door for the serviceman.

Both the upper and the lower hinge are tight to the case.
