Kitchen switch turns of LR light

Hello,

I replaced our living room light and dimmer switch recently. Everything seems fine and the new dimmer switch works the new light, but every now and again When the kitchen light is turned off it will also turn of the living room light.

What’s the cause of this, why is it intermittent, and how do I fix it?

You probably left one of the wires you touched a bit loose. First thing is to check them all visually and give them all a tug. You may also have partly trapped some insulation under a screw.
