I am having a new kitchen installed in my flat in South London. Trouble is my fitter who is very sound on everything does not do the mitred join that is my preference. He has suggested a diagonal cut which he says will be perfect, but I still like the mitred join.
I am a little handy with odd jobs and I've researched the tools and jig required for the work, but I need to have the job done quickly and competently and I'm not sure I have the confidence to do it. I guess if I tried it I would think what's the fuss. The layout is a U-shape, so would require 2 joins, are there joiners in who would do only the worktop fitting and what would roughly be the cost?
