Has anybody experience of this product? Does it really provide superior sound proofing properties as compared to normal plasterboard when used on dry walls or ceilings?
Superior isn't the word, increased yes. If you can spare the space and the substrate can handle the weight, then go with 2 layers of normal 12.5 mm, which will probably work out cheaper too! Rockwool in all voids, stagger all joints. Simples.
