Cant grip it at all. .... Cant i juat glue the fecking thing back on?![]()

If i undo that nut, wont i get wet n dirty FAST?No, unless you can undo the gland nut and manage to grip the shaft with water pump pliars, you need a new valve.
It looks a mess. Whilst draining the system it would be a good idea to replace any others like that.
Even better to replace hem all!

As a quick fix so im not cold tnight. And have a plumber in as i need a service on the syatem anyways. I got some of that horrible gorrilla glue, worth a dab?Cant grip it at all. .... Cant i juat glue the fecking thing back on?![]()
but it will break again eventually so might as well change it , and do others at the same time . saves time in future if you have a related problem with your heating system![]()

TBH , if its a temporary fix then try it it could work ( needs to be strong enough ) but i wouldn't leave it like it , if you had other problems in future it could become a ball ache and cost you more .
Ive put some on. Now ive put a cover, just a small dab on the outside of the sheer. Will report back after ive tryed to move it. Il let this dry for a few hours.
