Hi I am looking to knock down two walls to make my kitchen area bigger. The walls are part of a single story extension carried out by the previous owners. I will get a specialist in to have a look but with COVID at the moment I was wondering if anyone could give me an initial thought virtually. I have attached the original plans for the extension and have drawn arrows to the two walls I’d like to get rid of. I don’t think they are supporting anything, however it’s a pitched roof on the single story extension and so wasn’t sure if they supported this in any way. One wall goes into a steel pillar which holds the corner of the original house up, and so I appreciate this will need to stay. Both walls I think are built of aerated blocks. Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks

It all depends on what they are supporting. Don't you have the roof plan or section B-B?

I have ones showing the elevations but not a detailed roof one? Would the elevations one help?

No. The sections would help to see if the roof members are bearing on the internal walls

Just found this, this suggests one of the walls is supporting??
