Probably teaching you how to suck eggs... but if you are decommissioning a back boiler, and leaving bits of it in the chimney behind something that gets hot, make sure its all vented with holes drilled in the jacket for example, and the pipework not just sealed up, or it may well go bang at some point.

I made a error not giving the whole picture ,the back boiler has been disconnected some time ago and the cylinder taken out so there is no danger to anyone going boom mate and if you read corgi tech bulliten 113
you will know that it,s all explained in there ,, i just wanted to get some new info on the subject i just chose the wrong place to look for it that,s all :oops:
