I have just installed 6x12V fire rated halogen downlighters in a lounge - with individual transformers connected by 1.5mm T+E.
Just checked the Part P document and it says that 'special installations' include 'Extra Low voltage lighting installations, other than pre-assembled CE marked lighting sets'

The transformers and downlighters I have used are CE marked, but I am not sure if they are considered a 'pre-assembled set' as described in Part P since I have cabled them together.

Should I notify LABC for this installation? Its no problem to do so, but I want to make sure I follow the correct procedure.

Thanks
Andy
