Labour and conservatives are on the ropes.

It has affected a lot of people, most people have been forced to live with these illegalls either near to them, in their towns or worse still, next door to them.
"Illegals" as you call them, are kept in detention.
If their removal to their country of origin is not possible, the government are obliged to assess their application, irrespective of how they arrived.
Only bona fide asylum seekers, and successful refugees are allowed into the community.
Of course anyone who arrives via a legal route is automatically granted leave to remain.

So theoretically no-one will have 'illegals' living next door.

With great difficulty. Not because it's difficult to turn back the tide of third world chancers - but because your lot will be weeping in the streets and setting every obstacle they can to keep the flow of parasites heading this way. All backed by lefty legal system on the make.
You think asylum seekers don't want to make a better life for themselves, work and contribute to society?
Why would they risk their life crossing a dangerous stretch of water?
They want to work, they want to send money home to support their family.
According to Farage (no less) the asylum seekers, and economic migrants are filling the roles that indigenous Brits don't want.
So according to Farage, your argument is back-to-front and upside-down. The immigrants are the workers, and the lazy indigenous Brits are the spongers.

It is interesting that Reform have said nothing about physically stopping the boats from entering British waters. They are going to leave all the treaties on human rights i.e. ECHR, the torture convention, the human trafficking convention, and the refugee convention. But even after leaving all those treaties, they are not planning to physically stop the boats. Maybe it actually is really difficult in practice.

Your theory is very misguided

Then dispute my 'theory' with facts. If you can stay awake long enough.

Unauthorised migrants are not permitted to access jobs, housing, benefits, and most free public services in the UK

They're not housed in the community, they're most likely in detention.
When someone arrives in the UK without permission, the government's aim, under the Illegal Migration Act 2023, is to detain them and promptly remove them to their home country or a safe third country, preventing them from remaining in the UK.

So it's highly unlikely anyone will be living in close proximity to an illegal immigrant.

Sorry, I thought you were teaching your parrot some big words.
Is that it? That is your punch line//? OMG get back to screwfix and practice with Alan. Then pop back. Oh wait, it is Alan that keeps destroying you and why you have to keep appearing here under a different guise. There is no hope.

Got a link to that?
Do you know how to do links. Or if you have no hope I can teach your parrot how to do it. if you like.
I understand they're good at repetition.
