Labour and the magic tree

I did smirk when I saw that headline last night.. free broadband, wooohooo. Am sure people would rather have a better NHS, good jobs, good schools, not rely on food banks...... Let's sort the basics out first yeah?

Anyway, it's all bull, all the parties can promise the moon but once they're in power it doesn't mean jack.

It kills me when you see adverts for 5g; I'd settle for a signal, across half of the country......
I know.

I used to be on O2, couldnt get signal at work, now on EE, cant get signal in my garden office.
Grrr

I get about 40mbs on basic FTTC fibre. Cabinet is about a mile away.

Yep 1g would be nice here..luckily have some business units close by or I wouldn't have fibre either. I mean proper fibre not a piece of string from a cabinet super fast bs.

But labour are pledging to fix that I really like the sound problem is I'll have 50million immigrants as well.

Is that the one where you prefer to hear comforting lies instead of the truth as JD wrote? Care to tell which parts of JD's post are not true?

Sorry to hear you dislike being told Tory brexers are extraordinarily wasteful with money. Diddums.

Now now put your handbag down  supporting that mumbling forum lunatic..sure sure..

Shall we go through all the wasteful stuff Labour have managed how about the weapons of mass distraction oops wrong subject thinking of Swinson I mean weapons of mass destruction what about that colossal waste of money we are still paying for due to the economic instability of that whole area the migrant impact etc.

We cant ping anything recent on them because they're the losers. As others with a balanced view have pointed out they're all guilty of being sh1t and wasteful. Because.. theres no accountability they fck up worse case are removed from position and things move on. Or the next GE move on anyway.
I agree we are losing all our public services but I dont like the way labour view hardworking successful people in this country as the solution to the issues.

There's nothing to defend.
But broadband really is the least of our problems as a country...

Labour are best at the NHS and schools. Yesterday it hit the news that our hosp waiting times are at an all time low, leaving many people in pain for months and months. Underfunded by the tories, cutback after cutback.. Am sure that free broadband is the last thing on peoples minds while sitting at home in pain.

I agree we are losing all our public services but I dont like the way labour view hardworking successful people in this country as the solution to the issues.
And while the tories don't, they are however happy to make the poor poorer and take away all the services that benefit us all in order to save a bob or two.

No, we can't pin anything recent on them because they have not been in government since 2010, you know, when the economy was stronger, growing faster, and the country richer, more peaceful and more stable ...

I dont like the way labour view hardworking successful people

Read the manifesto and listen to labour, don't believe the lies in the Tory tabloids. Labour want a strong economy and that means helping big businesses to grow. But not at the expense of the state - taxing big earners is not exactly a hatred of hardworking successful people - it's how the country has been for centuries run.

But broadband really is the least of our problems as a country...

They never said it was all they would do - it's a 10 year plan to catch up with the rest of the world.
Obviously NHS, school, police all come first.

if the super rich get away with not paying their fair share of taxes, doesnt that mean effectively taking more tax from hard working people or preventing them getting the public services they should.

is it fair that people like Philip Green swan about the med on his huge yacht whilst some hard working person cant see is GP for 3 weeks.

Im not a fan of the current Labour leader or his obsession with socialism, but lets rise above the simplistic binary arguments used in this red blue debate -all that does is keep us the losers and the politicians the winners.

Should've taken the tin foil off that celotex.
I know that doesnt help -but I cant get a signal from the bottom of the garden either.

maybe I need to try a newer phone that supports wifi calls

Agree but the super rich will super fck off and leave the not so supers to cop it. You watch.
