Lady in distress...... pull cord replacement

my old fitting has x4 wires attached in total, to the little black box.

x2 black wires in red casing and x2 red wires connected

the new one way switch i brough has two connections "L2" and "Com".

what way round do i put the wires in ???

there is nothing else connected to the light switch.

Any chance of a photo of the connections to the old switch?

Just be careful and ensure the circuit is isolated (switched off at the fuse box) before you do any work. High voltage can kill

Sorry for being pedantic but, as an amateur, one thing I've learnt from this forum is that mains is 'low voltage'!

Of course, I don't dispute that high voltage can kill too!
