Hi
I have just done the floors in my dining room and want to start on my kitchen. I know the pitfalls of laminate in the kitchen but this (hopefully) only has to last 2 or 3 years before I refit the entire kitchen.
I am having trouble with where to start or the best way to go about it due to the fact the existing units are already in place and the layout of the room. I dont want to laminate under the units where the floor wont be seen and where I will have to make all the cuts around the legs
I have units on both sides of the long walls (the room is a rectangle with a few "shapes" that will require board cutting at one of the short ends of the room. There are doors at both short ends of the room as well as a door on one of the long sides (next to one of the short side wall doors)
Pic below where the doors are in red
How would anyone tackle this? Sorry if it is a stupid question but starting at the obvious point (where the fridge is) I am only going to be using one plank until I have hit the legs of the kitchen unit. I am then worried that if I start laying at the other end of the unit it wont be until I have reached the middle of the room that I discover the flooring is not in line
Many Thanks
