Laminate flooring at doorways.

Hi,
I,m laying 12mm laminate in my hallway. There are 3 doors opening off the hallway.
Despite much searching I am unable to find any advice on finishing at doorways.
Do I stop short of, go flush with, or go past the door jam.
If its the first, or the last option, by how much?
Sorry to seem dumb, but this is my first attempt and I want to do it right.
Any help would be much appreciated.
